The Power Edit

The Power Edit

A three-month reset for capable women who are done proving competence and ready to be experienced as the leaders they already are.

What's actually going on

What’s underneath every stalled promotion, meetings replayed in your head at 11 pm, the exhaustion of performing at 120%, is the same gap: how capable you are versus how you’re experienced when it counts. When presence drops, even high capability goes offline. You over-explain, soften the strong point, fill the silence, and the room reads all of it as less authority than you have.
I suppress myself to preserve safety, approval, or connection, and then feel unseen, separate, and resentful.
The work repairs this internal authority leak. It’s not performance coaching, and it’s not girlboss polishing. It’s the internal work that changes how you’re experienced, and it’s portable, meaning once you can access it, it can take you anywhere you want to go. The future is truly yours to shape.

What changes

By the end of three months, the women who do this work describe some version of the same shift:
  • They speak in senior rooms with more clarity, even when the stakes are high.
  • Their body stays steady. The rushing, rambling, and shutting down ease off.
  • Ambiguity stops throwing them. They ask the questions that shape direction instead of staying in execution mode.
  • They learn how to read a room and respond so they’re seen as a strategic voice, not a reliable doer.
  • They show up more as themselves, grounded and authoritative, without performing or masking.
  • How it works

Three months, built so the personal work is yours and the structure carries you between sessions.

    Monthly 1:1 with me

The bespoke work: identity calibration, presence resets, communication rewrites, and prep for the specific high-stakes moments you’re walking into. Your actual stakeholders, your actual meetings, your actual next move.

    Group calls every two weeks

A small room of capable women across different fields, doing the same underlying work. You’re coached live and learn as much from watching the patterns in others as from your own turn. Every call is recorded (but remains private), so a missed one is never lost.

    Async support between sessions

Send a voice note or message when something’s live: a draft for a senior stakeholder, a meeting to frame, a debrief on what didn’t land. Targeted coaching in real time.

    The toolkit

The frameworks, scripts, and drills I use across the work, the Presence Map, the Internal Authority Reset, the Stakeholder Clarity Map, the meeting-architecture method, and more.

Access to an exclusive resource library

Short lessons and practices that support you as the program runs, and that you can access any time.

    Your Leadership Roadmap

In the final session, we map your next six to twelve months: positioning, visibility, boundaries, and the concrete next steps toward the promotion, role change, or renegotiation you’re working toward.
You can join at the next available intake rather than waiting for a launch. The work is remote, and we coordinate live calls across time zones.

    Who this is for

It’s for women already carrying real responsibility and visibility, where how they show up genuinely matters.
Women across tech, product, engineering, data and AI, design, marketing, and operations, and other professional fields, who are brilliant at the work and not yet being experienced as the leaders they are.
Senior individual contributors, leads, staff-level, and new-to-senior managers. Quietly ambitious women who don’t want to win by being the loudest voice in the room.

    About Madeline

I’m a former Hollywood entertainment lawyer turned leadership and communication coach. I spent close to a decade working in the US on high-pressure global projects before moving into executive communication and leadership development. Since then I’ve worked with women across Apple, Google, Niantic, Deloitte, Bayer, Stripe, Waymo, and fast-scaling AI and engineering teams in the US, Australia, and Europe.
My work combines nervous-system regulation, identity alignment, and influence so that capable women show up with the clarity, presence, and authority their work deserves, without becoming louder, more aggressive, or more performative than they are. I don’t teach bro-style power scripts. I teach the grounded, strategic presence that actually lands in senior rooms, and I built The Power Edit because I’ve watched too many exceptional women lose access to themselves under pressure with no real guidance to rebuild it.

What the work looks like in practice

Because this is identity and presence work, and because the women who do it value their privacy, I share what changes rather than who said it:
  • A senior engineer at a fast-scaling AI company who used to go blank when challenged now opens the meeting and got re-promoted to the senior executive forum.
  • A product lead repeatedly passed over as “not quite strategic” renegotiated her scope and title within the quarter.
  • A staff-level data scientist who over-functioned to the point of burnout stopped carrying clarity for the whole team and started being experienced as the person who sets the direction.
  • Before you join

I take everyone through a conversation before they join, so we can both make sure it’s the right fit. Pricing is part of that call.

    Faqs

    Is this therapy?
No. We’ll talk about pressure, patterns, and identity, but this is practical, career-focused coaching, not a substitute for therapy, and I’m not a licensed therapist.
You’re exactly who this is built for. The work doesn’t ask you to become louder or more performative. We build a presence that works with how you process pressure, not against it.
The program is built for women working at the pace of tech. The group calls are recorded, the async support means you’re covered between sessions, and the 1:1s are scheduled around you.
This is for women already carrying real responsibility and visibility, not women who feel fully confident. You don’t need to feel ready. You need to be operating where how you show up genuinely matters.
The Power Edit is a women’s program. I do take a small number of private 1:1 executive-coaching clients of any gender outside it; mention it when you reach out.
